I had an enjoyable, long overdue, week off from work! I had two goals that I wanted to accomplish and I did fairly well. The first was to begin (well, to finish) a grim Christmas short story I had been thinking about. I did start it and finished the first part of three. The second was to finish my history paper; which I did finish even if I only had four hours left before it was due! By Friday I had enough of my goals met that I decided it would be okay to visit an interest of mine in El Paso. I’m very glad I took the time for myself and decided to drive four hours to visit him....(Read More)

What is the importance of remembering the "attack of 9/11”"? With so much information available to the masses, the idea that we were/are a helpless nation under attack, a total surprise to our frivolous government, not only demeans us as citizens, but, shows the naïve traits we allow to exist....(Read More)

Life can be obnoxious, sometimes, to say in the least. Its obnoxious there isn’t more hours in a day. Its obnoxious how many hours we need to sleep. And its obnoxious my time-management skills have been lacking something fierce as of late. What is even more obnoxious, I know my feeling of being inferior has nothing to do with time, but, instead, with how much I recognize I can do better.....(Read More)
